Why
do we wear ties? More importantly, this piece is written in an

Some
Liner Notes From Kush
2010
was a very productive year in my musical journey as I wrote 398 tunes,
(more than one a day) spurred on by
a series of cosmic, equally important events. First and foremost was
the collaboration with my old friend Dr. Henry Karlin. Way back in the
1960’s, we
wrote songs together for the infamous band “Tar & Feather”. 40 years later, the muse struck and we created
hundreds of new tunes. Second, I started working with Tony Coluccio
of Global Media Music who tutored me on the art of going digital. Finally,
and equally important was the transition of
going from an analog musical world of playing the piano to going digital
with the help of Apple’s Garageband, a music software program with 'virtual
instruments'. Thus, “Electric
Kush”.
We’d
like to thank Tony Coluccio of Global Media Music for production, nuance
and support and Anthony Mirabella, percussionist on Soul of Vocal Processing,
